In today's drawing exercise, I have featured some amazing hair braids. Came up wanting to do something different and it was a design where a bunch of hair braids are placed on top of a carpet. Here the hair is blocked with a very thin thread, which is why they bloom like flowers! I chose a blue ballpoint pen to make this as I thought blue would make the drawing more interesting than black!
I got the idea to draw this from Instagram! A friend is very clever in these drawings and he is a very good artist, I tried it after watching his tutorial. You can visit his account if you want here
Ok let's talk about your process

I took an offset paper to do this, and first draw a fine line and dot it, leaving an inch and a half space between it.

Later, from one point to another point, I draw some marks on one side of the mark, similarly I have drawn marks on the opposite side.

Once one braid is done in this way, another one is done in the same way.

Finally replaced the random spots to create a blanket in the background
